Activating the CPR release

WARNING
Always make sure that all persons and equipment are away from the area below and around the fowler before you
activate the CPR release. The CPR release is for emergency use only.
When the fowler is raised and quick access to the patient
is needed, you can position the Birthing Bed quickly to 0°
by activating the CPR release.
The instant CPR release lever is located at the head end
section on both the left and right sides of the fowler
(Figure 1-12 on page 1-19).
To activate the CPR release, grasp the lever on either
side of the fowler and squeeze tightly. The fowler will
instantly descend to the lowest position.

Raising or lowering the siderails

WARNING
• Always set the siderail position necessary to make sure that a patient is safely in the product.
• Always lock the nurse control panel and patient control panel when the patient is unattended.
• Always keep the siderails outside of the oxygen tent.
Note: Siderails are not intended to be used as a patient restraint device.
