CHAIN ADJUSTMENT
(SIX DAYS)
Chain should be checked, adjusted and lubricated
as per the Maintenance Chart to ensure safety and
prevent excessive wear. If the chain becomes badly
worn or is poorly adjusted (i.e., if it is too loose or too
taut), it could escape from sprocket or break.
Make sure that the chain features a slack (A) meas-
uring approximately 20 mm (0,78 in.), as shown in
the nameplate (1) on swingarm.
If it is not, proceed as follows:
- loosen the wheel pin fastening nut (2) on the right-
hand side;
- adjust the chain tension by turning the nuts (3)
referring to the reference notches (4);
- when you have made the adjustment, tighten the
nut (2).
- lock the nuts (3).

After adjustment, always check wheel alignment
and that the camber is 20 mm (0.78 in.).

CHAIN ADJUSTMENT (ACE OF SPADES)
Chain should be checked, adjusted and lubricated
as per the Maintenance Chart to ensure safety and
prevent excessive wear. If the chain becomes badly
worn or is poorly adjusted (i.e., if it is too loose or too
taut), it could escape from sprocket or break.
Make sure that the chain features a slack (A) meas-
uring approximately 20 mm (0,78 in.), as shown in
the nameplate (1) on swingarm.
If it is not, proceed as follows:
- loosen the wheel pin fastening nut (2) on the left-
hand side using a socket wrench;
- loosen the lock nuts (3) on both the chain tension-
ers and operate on the screws (4) to obtain the
correct tension value referring to the reference
notches (5);

- when you have made the adjustment, tighten the
lock nuts (3) and the wheel pin nut (2).
