Firmly tighten the clamping screw (2).
To disassemble the attachment tool loosen the hand screw.
Press on the button (b) and pull the attachement tool out of
the holder.
Reattach the protective cap (60).

Put the drive unit (1) on a level surface.
Remove the screws (c) together with the spring rings
and washers.
Slide the lower handle (5) in the rubber sleeve (6) on
the tube shaft of the drive unit (1).
Slide the handle (4) in the lower handle and secure both
parts using the screws, spring rings and washers.

Remove the 4 screws (e) together with the spring
rings, washers and nuts from the protective hood holder
(31). Loosen the hexagon socket screw (f) and fold up the
holder (32).
Slide the protective hood (30) on its holder (31).
Fold down the holder (32) and secure the protective
hood using the screws, washers and nuts. Tighten the
hexagon socket screw (f) again.

Align the hole in the protective cover (33) with the hole
on the angular gear (34) and lock the drive shaft using the
Allen key (23).

Place the power pruner on a level surface.
Remove the securing nut (55) and remove the cover (54).
Turn the chain stretching screw (57) anticlockwisely
until the chain stretching pin (58) is at the rear end of the
thread.
Put the saw chain over the clutch (52) on the chain
wheel (50) and insert it in the circumferential guiding
groove of the guide bar.
Attend to the correct running direction of the chain links.
Place the guide bar (50). The chain stretching pin (58)
must engage in the provided chain stretching hole (g) in the
/
/
guide bar.
When assembling, pay attention that the chain links are
lying correctly within the guide slot and on the chain wheel
(56).
Remount the cover (54) and tighten the securing nut
(55) hand-tight.
Stretch the saw chain as described in section „Stretching
the saw chain".
Risk of injury!
Loosen the retaining nut (55) by max. 1 turn.
Slightly lift the guide bar tip and turn the chain
stretching screw (57) clockwisely until the correct chain
tension is reached.
The
lifted in the centre of the chain guide by appr. 3 – 4 mm.
Turn the chain stretching screw anti-clockwise when the
saw chain is stretched too much.
Check that the chain links are positioned correctly in
the guiding groove of the guide bar.
