CEBORA S.p.A.
COOLING UNIT ACCESSIBILITY (Fig. 3.5.15.a)
To access the internal parts of the cooling unit, remove the assembly from the power
source support tunnel, pulling from the front, remove the four screws A from the lower
part of the wire feed unit.
TESTING COOLING UNIT POWER SUPPLY (Fig. 3.5.15.b).
□ Precharge board (39), connector J4, terminals 4 – 6 = 230 Vac, with power source
powered and cooling unit enabled from the control panel.
TESTING AUTOTRANSFORMER (38) (Fig. 3.5.15.b)
□ Autotransformer (38), terminals 0 - 400V = 10 ohm, approximately; terminals 0 - 230V
= 6 ohm, approximately (coil resistance without wires connected to the terminal block).
TESTING COOLING UNIT CONNECTED (Fig. 3.5.15.b and 3.5.15c)
□ Precharge board (39), connector J6 terminals 3(+) and 4(-) = 0 Vdc, unit connected;
+24 Vdc unit disconnected or wiring interrupted.
TESTING COOLING UNIT ENABLEMENT (Fig. 3.5.14.b and 3.5.15c)
□ Precharge board (39), connector J10 terminals 2(+) and 3(-) = 1 Vdc, approximately,
with cooling unit enabled from the control panel; 0 Vdc = cooling unit not enabled.
TESTING PUMP (26) (see cooling unit electrical diagram, section 5.4).
□ Pump terminals (26) on cooling unit, voltage = 230 Vac, with cooling unit enabled.
□ With the power source off, temporarily disconnect wires of pump (26) from the
terminal block and check resistance at terminals of pump (26) (motor winding
resistance). Correct value = 22 ohm, approximately.
□ Check integrity and connection of start-up capacitor of motorised pump (26), located
beside pump motor (26).
TESTING FANS (2) (see cooling unit electrical diagram, section 5.4)
□ Terminals of fans (2) on cooling unit, voltage = 230 Vac, with cooling unit enabled.
□ With the power source off, temporarily disconnect the wires of fan (2) from the
terminal block and check the resistance between the terminals of fan (2) (windings of
fans (2)). Correct value = 750 ohm, approximately.
TESTING PRESSURE SWITCH (23) (Fig. 3.5.14.b, 3.5.14.c)
□ precharge board (39), connector J6, terminals 1(+) -and 4(-) = 0 Vdc, approximately,
with pump (26) running (pressure switch contact closed = sufficient pressure); +24
