4.1. How to Install and Configure the Rev G Processor Board
™
The MilTouch-EX
serial communications between the processor board and the peripheral boards by making some
serial ports on the board more resistant to electromagnetic interference. This change was first
implemented in processor boards labelled "Rev G."
With the proper value configured for decision F (Comm Port), any version of MilTouch-EX
software WUMTCOMB will work with any revision of the MilTouch-EX processor board. This
document provides the details you need to configure your MilTouch-EX machine to take
advantage of the improved serial communications.
