- Do not stacks pieces on top of each other .
- Do not walk on or place pieces on top of the
package.
- Do not store any material inside the package.
- Deep the package away from any passage areas.
- If possible, insert wooden wedges between the
package and the floor.

5. INSTALLATION

5.1 General instructions:

Install the Product carefully following the steps listed
below:
- The wheel Gear unit is normally supplied in the
following versions:
With coupling flange for electric and hydraulic
motors.
With connection for direct attachment to the axle.
- For wheel gear units use rust-inhibitor paint and
protect the oil guards with water-repellent grease.
NOTE: BREVINI POWER TRANSMISSION S.p.a.
advises against filling its products with oil prior to
installation.

5.2 Wheel Gear unit installation instructions:

- They must be attached to a rigid structure with a
clean support surface that is perpendicular to the
drive axis.
- The spigots and the coupling surfaces of the gear
unit must be clean without any dents. The checks
described above are particularly important to ensure
perfect alignment between the structure and the
wheel gear unit.
- Check that all spigots of the gear unit and the
housing are thoroughly greased and cleaned so that
the gear unit is securely locked into its seat.
- After having inserted the gear unit into its housing
and having placed it in the correc.t position, tighten
it to the structure, using screws class 8.8, with the
attachment bolts applying torque as indicated in
paragraph 9..3.
