E0: motor overload.
9) Alarm E0: Motor overload cutout
In case of motor fault of any kind:
overloading, overheating, misconnection,
etc., the motor goes to idle and the message
E0 blinks on the display. The motor goes to
idle and waits for 150sec. After this safety
time the machine performs a distribution
step and then makes a new attempt. If after
five attempts the alarm is triggered again,
the cycle will be aborted, the display will
flash the alarm and the buzzer will be heard
for 5 minutes on end. After that the system
will be reset automatically.
Measures to be taken in case of a
voltage drop
If a voltage drop longer than 3 sec. occurs
during a wash cycle, on being re-energised
the display will read "POWER FAIL" with
the general danger sign and an hourglass
flashing for one minute: all functions will be
disabled. As soon as normal work conditions
are restored the cycle will be resumed from
the step that was in progress when the voltage
drop occurred and the display unit will resume
its normal functions. Conversely, if the door
is open when the machine is re-energised,
the cycle will be aborted.
ATTENTION: If the ON - OFF switch is
actuated to turn machine off after the
cycle has been started, the microprocessor
will behave as if a voltage drop has
occurred and will react accordingly.
CAUTION! WHEN ONE OR MORE
ALARMS APPEAR ON DISPLAY
DURING MACHINE OPERATION,
REMOVE MISFUNCTION SOURCES
BEFORE STARTING A NEW CYCLE (IF
POSSIBLE). AND CONTACT THE
AUTHORISED AFTER-SALES SERVICE
OR DEALER IN ORDER TO AVOID
FURTHER DAMAGE.
7.8 INFORMATION ABOUT SPECIAL
MEASURES FOR USE AND
PROTECTION
When carrying out the first cycle, verify the
following:
- Soap dispensers must stay clean:
dispenser A after taking in pre-wash water;
dispenser B after taking in wash water;
dispenser C after taking in water for the
last rinse.
- Remove all soap made solid during machine
lay up.
- Perform a 90°C cycle to remove all
manufacturing residues.
- If need be, mount appropriate bumpers to
prevent trolleys from hitting and damaging
the door.
- Never open soap compartments when the
machine is taking in water or is heating.

7.9 ORDINARY MAINTENANCE

(to be carried out by the user)
BEFORE ANY MAINTENANCE OR
CLEANING OPERATIONS, CHECK
THAT THE WALL CUTOFF SWITCH
IS OFF AND THE WARM WATER,
COLD WATER AND STEAM TAPS
ARE CLOSED (THE LATTER APPLIES
TO STEAM-HEATED MACHINES
ONLY). THE DRUM MUST BE STILL
AND
DRAINED
AND
TEMPERATURE INSIDE MUST NOT
°
EXCEED 40
C.
The machine requires no special
maintenance, thanks to its ergonomic design
and to the use of very reliable, first-quality
parts.
Periodically clean the external panels with a
damp cloth. Never use inflammable or
abrasive products and rub in the direction of
the satin-finish.
Always keep forced-cooling slots and
openings free from dust (the fan sucks fresh
air from the room), which are on the rear of
the machine, where the speed changer is
housed.
NEVER WASH THE APPLIANCE
USING WATER JETS.
BEFORE TURNING THE MACHINE
ON BY THE CUTOFF SWITCH ON
THE WALL, PUT ALL THE PANELS
REMOVED BACK IN PLACE.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR
MAINTENANCE AND
REPAIR PERSONNEL
8. SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE
AND ORDERING SPARE PARTS
8.1 REMOVE THE LID
To access the electrical parts of the machine,
remove the screws fastening the cover to the
back panel, lift the rear part of the cover and
push it to the front by approximately 5cm.
BEFORE TURNING THE MACHINE
ON AGAIN BY THE WALL CUTOFF
SWITCH, PUT ALL THE PANELS
REMOVED BACK IN PLACE.
8.2 TROUBLESHOOTING
If the machine does not work, check the
following:
- the main cutoff switch on the wall is on and
the machine is getting current;
- the door is closed;
- the green start push-button has been pressed.
- the warm water, cold water and steam taps
are open (the steam tap only for steam-
heated machines).
If the fault is not due to any of the above
causes, call the authorised after-sales service
21
or your dealer (see last page of this booklet).

8.3 SAFETY DEVICES

- Door closed safety microswitch: cuts off
power to the whole auxiliary circuit and
consequently stops the machine.
- Electronic thermal switch (overload cutout)
within the motor: disconnects power supply
in the event of coil overheating.
- Air-break system in the soap dispenser:
prevents wastewater from polluting the
drinkable water system in the event of a
depression.
THE
- Normally open drain valve: enables safe
door manual opening by means of the manual
puller.
- Tilt switch: avoids mechanical damage in
the event of irregular loads.
- Fuse-fitted heating elements. the electric
circuit is disconnected in case of malfunction.
8.4 PERIODIC MAINTENANCE (to be
carried out by the technical personnel)
All maintenance operations must be carried
out by the authorised after-sales service or
by qualified personnel.
BEFORE ANY MAINTENANCE OR
CLEANING OPERATION, CHECK
THAT THE WALL CUTOFF SWITCH
IS OFF AND THE WARM WATER,
COLD WATER AND STEAM TAPS
ARE CLOSED (THE LATTER APPLIES
TO STEAM-HEATED MACHINES
ONLY).
Be very careful during maintenance. NEVER
skip or ignore safety devices. Use only
original spare parts. If doubts should arise,
contact your sales person immediately,
explaining what the fault is and indicating
some information on the machine: model
and serial number (details reported on the
rating plate appearing on the rear of the
machine or inside the door, where
applicable).
MONTHLY
INSPECTION
SERVICING
Clean the strains located on the outer part of
the electrically driven valves.
Make certain that the steam valve strain is
clean (this applies to steam-heated machines
only).
Clean the soap dispenser from any soap
remains.
Clean the door gasket and the tub inlet with
a cloth.
Always keep forced-cooling slots and
openings free from dust, which are on the
rear of the machine, where the speed changer
is housed.
YEARLY INSPECTION AND
SERVICING
Make certain that the floor fastening nuts are
securely closed (if applicable).
Check the wear of the belts and replace them
if necessary. If more than one of them is
worn out, replace the entire set of belts.
