3.4.5 SUMP OIL FILLING AND PLATFORMS ALIGNEMENT
WARNING: Always make sure there are no oil leaks; if necessary disconnect the electric power and tighten loosened connectors.
Raise the platforms as follows:
1) Unscrew the oil-sump plug (21 Fig. 9) and pour into the tank (22 Fig. 9) It 10 of hydraulic oil ESSO NUTO H32 or the equivalent (ISO VG 32).
2) Press the pushbutton ON (16 Fig. 3)
3) Press the pushbutton UP (19 Fig. 3) and lift the platforms by 10 cm.
4) Take of the 4 supports (1 Fig. 6) from beneath the platforms.
5) Check now that the platforms, supported by the bearing cables, are at the same height from the floor, close to each column. If necessary,
adjust the cables (6 Fig. 6) with the fixing bolts (18 Fig. 6) on the top of each column (and/or of the plate 5 fig. 8), until there is a perfect
alignement of the platform with the floor. Lock then the cables ends with bolt and nut (18 Fig. 6).
6) Press the DOWN pushbutton (21 Fig. 3). The platforms will slowly come down until the mechanical safety devices will be activated.
7) Check now that the platforms, resting on the mechanical safety devices, are at the some height from the floor, near each column. If neces-
sary, adjust the vertical position of the drilled rods (9 Fig. 6) acting on the fixing boets (17 Fig. 6) to obtain a perfect alignment of the
platforms with the floor. Fix then the bolts with the securing screws (21 Fig. 6).
8) Press the UP pushbutton (19 Fig. 3) and keep it pressed until the platforms reach the maximum height.

3.4.6 FIXING OF THE COLUMNS TO THE FLOOR

1) Check with a water level that the columns are vertical to the floor and perfectly aligned to each other.
2) Using a 16 mm drill bit, make the 16 anchoring holes on the floor for a depth of about 110 mm (Fig. 12). Then clean carefully the holes
and the floor.
3) Insert the 16 M16 dowels (type HILTI HSA-A M16x140/25) (1 Fig. 12) hitting them lightly with a hammer.
4) Tighten the dowels bolts (1 Fig. 12) with a torque wrench setting egual to 100 Nm. If the bolts are idle, they should be replaced with larger
size ones.
3.4.7 STICKERS, PLATES AND PICTOGRAMMES
Apply on the lift all the stickers supplied with this manual, following the lay-out as per Fig. 15.
WARNING: If the stickers are not put on the lift, the guarantee conditions are no longer valid and the constructor is relieved of any respon-
sibility from damage caused when using the lift.
Damaged, deteriorated, illegible or missing plates should be replaced. Ask for replacements from the seller and specify the position number
indicated in Figure 15. Put the new stickers in their correct position on the lift as soon as possible.
