4.0 INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
WARNING: Read carefully the chapters concerning "Satety regulations and accidents preventions".
WARNING: Before any operation on the control panel make sure that no person is in the working area and so exposed to danger.
4.1 PUSHBUTTON PANEL
The following operations can be carried out from the control panel:
4.1.1 LIFT RAISING
• Check that the EMERGENCY/OFF. Pushbutton is not pressed, (17 Fig. 3) in case turn it as shown by the arrow.
• Press the pushbutton ON (16 Fig. 3), the LED (18 Fig. 3) will light UP.
• Press the pushbutton UP (19 Fig. 3) until the required height is reached.
• Press the DOWN pushbutton (21 Fig. 3) until the mechanical safety devices are completely engaged, completing therefore the standing
phase.
4.1.2 LIFT LOWERING
• Press the UP pushbutton (18 Fig. 3) followed by the SAFETY RELEASE pushbutton (20 Fig. 3) to allow the raising of the platforms by 10÷15
mm before the lowering operation and the release of the mechanical safety devices.
• Press the pushbutton DOWN (21 Fig. 3), until the required height is reached, or until they stop (approx 15 cm from the floor).
DANGER: Check, before operating the lift, that inside the dangerous area (1 Fig. 5) there are no persons or animals.
This must be checked always before completing the lift lowering as this is to be considered a very dangerous phase for persons within the
lift working area (1 Fig. 5).
• Press the pushbutton LOWERING COMPLETION (22 Fig. 3) until the minimum height is reached.
4.1.3 STAND BY POSITION
• Press the pushbutton UP (19 Fig. 3) until you reach to required height.
• Press the DOWN pushbutton (21 Fig. 3), the platforms will go down until the mechanical safety device is completely inserted.
WARNING: This operation should always be carried out before you approach the working area after each ascent.
4.1.4 EMERGENCY/OFF PUSHBUTTON
• Pressing the EMERGENCY/OFF pushbutton (17 Fig. 3), the lift will be completely out of operation.
• This operation must always be carried out before entering the working area below the lift.
• Releasing the EMERGENCY/OFF pushbutton (17 Fig. 3), the function of the ON pushbutton ( 16 Fig. 3) is again activated.
4.1.5 ON PUSHBUTTON
• The ON pushbutton(16 Fig. 3) must be pressed after any activation of the EMERGENCY/OFF pushbutton and activates all functions and con-
trols of the lift.
WARNING: When the ON indicator light (18 Fig. 3) is illuminated, it is forbidden to approach the lift platforms.
