3.4.14 -63- "L1 Low" on display A. Mains voltage not
correct (phase lack).
NOTE
In the case where the missing phase is one that also sup-
plies the services transformer, the power source block can
also be done with error indication 10 or 14 on art. 323 or
error 30 on art. 324, instead error 61.
The panel board (48) checks the mains voltage phases
presence through the "MAINS" signal generated by the
power board (45).
The "MAINS" signal may be tested on :
− (art. 323) R42 terminal(+) (in proximity of J3 - J4) C32
side and J3-B terminal(-), on power board (45);
− (art. 324) R56 terminal(+) (in proximity of J10) J10 side
and J5-B terminal(-), on power board (45).
Possible values:
− <+0,1 Vdc
= mains suitable;
− +0,8 Vdc, approx., Fig. 5.4.5 = phase lack, error 61;
− +5 Vdc
= mains not suitable, error 99.
Perform the tests in par. 3.3.1 and, if necessary, replace
power (45) and/or panel (48) boards.
3.4.15 -74- "TH1" on display A. Secondary diodes
group (art. 323) or input rectifier bridge
(art. 324) beyond limits temperature.
3.4.16 -77- "TH2" on display A. Secondary diodes
group (art. 324) beyond limits tempera-
ture.
With these alarms we recommend that you not shut off the
power source, to keep the fans running and thus cool the
unit more rapidly.
Normal operation is restored automatically as soon as the
temperature returns within the allowed limits.
− Make sure that the fans (44) are working properly;
− check for proper air flow and make sure there is no dust
or obstacles to cooling in the aeration tunnel;
− make sure that the operating conditions meet the speci-
fication values, especially observe the "duty cycle";
− check the wiring between J3, J4 (J5, J6 on art. 324)
on power board (45) and NTC sensors located on
the secondary diodes group and input rectifier bridge
dissipaters, on the power board (45);
− make sure that NTC sensors located on the secondary
diodes group and input rectifier bridge dissipaters, on
power board (45), are properly mounted and in good
working order; their signals can be tested on termi-
nals J3, J4 (J5, J6 on art. 324) on power board (45), at
ambient temperature their resistance value must be 4.8
Kohm approximately.

3.4.17 -75- "Water Unit low pressure" on display A.
Cooling circuit low pressure.
The pressure switch (23) measures the coolant pressure in
the cooling circuit.
See PRESSURE SWITCH (23) TEST, par. 3.3.13.
3.4.18 -76- "Water Unit not present" on display A.
Cooling unit not connected.
The signal "cooling unit connected" is provided by the
jumper on terminals 1 - 2 of the path connector (9) on the
cooling unit.
See COOLING UNIT CONNECTED TEST, par. 3.3.13.
3.4.19 -80- "Door opened" on display A. Wire feed
unit guard open.
This alarm indicates that the safety cover of the wire feed
unit is open.
− Check the wiring between J7 panel board (48) and
switch (54) on wire feed unit guard;
− check the voltage on J7 of panel board (48), terminals
1(+) – 2(-) = 0 Vdc = guard closed, correct condition;
+9 Vdc approximately = guard open, alarm (see Con-
nectors map, par. 5.8);
− make sure the switch (54) and the unit guard are prop-
erly mounted. If incorrectly positioned, correct the po-
sition; replace if defective.
3.4.20 -99- "POWER OFF" on display A. Incorrect
mains voltage (machine shutdown).
This signal can be introduced in case of short lack of the
mains voltage, during which the control circuits remain
powered for some moments and detect the mains voltage
not corrected.
In particular the power board (45) detects the lack of the
mains voltage, communicates it to the panel board (48)
("MAINS" signal) that commands the power source stop
and the signalling "POWER OFF" on display A.
The "MAINS" signal may be tested on :
− (art. 323) R42 terminal(+) (in proximity of J3 - J4) C32
side and J3-B terminal(-), on power board (45);
− (art. 324) R56 terminal(+) (in proximity of J10) J10 side
and J5-B terminal(-), on power board (45).
Possible values:
− <+0,1 Vdc
= mains suitable;
− +0,8 Vdc, approx., Fig. 5.4.5 = phase lack, error 61;
− +5 Vdc
= mains not suitable, error 99.
Perform the tests in par. 3.3.1 and, if necessary, replace
power (45) and/or panel (48) boards.
