♦ Make sure that there are no mechanical im-
pediments blocking the fans.
♦ Replace the fan (44).
■ Check the supply voltages of the power board (45), in
particular the +24 Vdc performing, if necessary, the
CONTROL POWER SUPPLY TEST, of par. 3.3.1.
■ (art. 323) Check connections on the printed circuit
of power board (45), between terminal FAN1-1
with terminal FAN2-2 (fans series connection, see
Connectors map, par. 5.6).
■ Replace power board (45) and/or fans (44).

Control panel doesn't show correct values.

SELF TEST.
□ Upon start-up, on control panel display A shows the
general information page:
− power source article number;
− power source firmware version;
− firmware issue date;
− synergic curves version.
□ After 2 s, display A shows the main menu page:
− synergic curve set;
− welding current (A) and wire speed expressed in
meter for minute;
− arc voltage (V) and suggested thickness expressed
in millimetres.
□ Fans (44) start working.
YES Correct?
♦ Check wiring between J4, INV board on
power board (45) and J1 panel board (48).
♦ Check supply voltages of the power (45) and
panel (48) boards, performing the tests of par.
3.3.1.
ERROR CODE TEST.
□ Upon turning the unit on, after the start-up phase, an
error condition is displayed: a code appears on the dis-
play A to identify the error type.

COMMANDS AND SIGNALS TEST.
□ After the start-up phase, with knob B is possible to per-
form all of the steps involved in selecting a "Process",
"Mode" and "Programs", as described in the Instruc-
tions Manual.

♦ Check the supply voltages of power (45) and
panel (48) boards, performing, if necessary,
the tests of par. 3.3.1.
♦ Make sure that the correct program is
inserted in the panel board (48), performing,
if necessary, the "Firmware Upgrade"
procedure (see par. 2.4).
■ Check wiring between J4, INV board on power board
(45) and J1 panel board (48).
■ Replace the power (45) and/or panel (48) boards.

Start button produces no effect.

NOTE
The start command may be given to the power source either
through the central adapters C or via the connector H.
The two circuits are parallel connected inside the panel
board (48), so only one of the two signals is enough to start
the power source.
START COMMAND TEST.
□ Panel board (48), terminal J6-A(+) and J6-B(-) = 0 Vdc
with start button pressed, +9 Vdc approximately, with
button released (with button connected both to the cen-
tral adapters C or connector H).
□ Panel board (48), connector J3, terminals 3(+) and 4(-) =
0 Vdc with start button pressed, +9 Vdc approximately,
with button released (with button connected both to the
central adapters C or connector H).
YES Correct?
♦ Check the wiring between J6, panel board
(48), central adapter C and torch button.
♦ Check the wiring between J3, panel board
(48) and connector H.
♦ Check the supply voltages of the panel board
