CARDAN

Connect the cardan to the drive shaft of the machine and to the power socket of the tractor,
so that the hard part (male) is in the machine and the tubular part (female) is on the tractor.

CUTTING THE CARDAN: fig. 15
- Disconnect the cardan from the tractor and disassemble the parts (male/ female).
- Connect the female part of the cardan to the power socket of the tractor.
- Place the parts, male and female, parallel. Mark the points to execute the cut so that there
is a gap of 30 cm (see the figures below).
- Remove the cardan from the machine and from the tractor and execute the cuts.
- Assemble the two parts of the cardan so that the forks are aligned.
- Connect the female side to the tractor and the male side to the machine shaft.

NOTE: After placing the cardan, fasten the chain to a fixed part of the tractor,
so that the protection does not turn.
The cut pieces of the hard and tubular parts of the cardan must have the same
length.
It is the exclusive responsibility of the authorized reseller to execute the prepa-
ration of the cardan and the first activation of the machine.
