FEEDING ARM/ PISTON SYNCHRONISM
Whenever the piston moves and releases the opening into the pressing chamber, the
feeding arm takes material, through the opening, inside the chamber. This operation
is very fast, occurring 100 times a minute, and requires perfect synchronism between
the arm and the piston, so that they do not collide.
Figures 71 and 72 show the positioning of the crank handle of the arm and of
the piston rod, when the piston is correctly synchronized with the arm.
In order to check the synchronism, turn the handwheel manually ad place the
crank handle of the arm in the position indicated in fig.72. In this position, verify
if the measure M (fig.71) is between 580 and 600 mm.
If the measure does not match, execute the adjustment as described below:
