TONGUE PRESSURE IN THE KNOTMAKER FOOT
The presser foot pressure on the roller tongue is exercised by a flat spring, stuck
in the foot itself (fig.134).
NOTA: The tongue must open upon a pressure of 5 to 10 kg at one end. The
spring should not be blocked under any circumstances.

ADJUSTING THE KNIFE HOLDER ARM
If the course of the arm is not enough, the knots can get stuck at the knotmaker
foot. When properly adjusted, there will be a gap between the arm and the foot,
from 8 to 15 millimeters (fig.135). For verification and the arm adjustment,
should proceed as described on the following page.
