SAFETY SYSTEMS

The Baler has three safety devices planned to protect the mechanisms in case
there is an overload or foreign bodies enter into the machine. The good func-
tioning of these devices is indispensable to ensure the maximum protection for
the equipment.
SAFETY DEVICE OF THE HANDWHEEL:
The safety bolt located on the handwheel (fig.56) breaks if there is an overload
or a foreign body enters during feeding, immediately stopping the functioning
of the machine.
CARE
HOW TO REPLACE THE SAFETY BOLT THE HANDWHEEL:
1- Disconnect the power socket and the engine of the tractor. Verify that the
handwheel has totally stopped.
2- Loosen the three fasteners B.
3- Remove the cover C.
4- Turn the handwheel manually until the holes where the safety bolt goes are
aligned.
5- Open the access cover D and place a new safety bolt with its respective nut.
Before restarting the operation, verify the reason that the safety bolt broke and
eliminate it. See if there are any strange objects inside the baling chamber.

When the safety bolt breaks, the handwheel continues
to turn for some time, even though the power socket
is disconnected. Wait until the handwheel has com-
pletely stopped before touching it.
