There must be a slack from 2-4mm
between the lower end from the
needle and the retainer disk (mea-
sure A)
In case the slack is outside the pat-
terns indicated above, proceed as
follows:
IMPORTANT!
The needle must be centered with
the disk fitting. Otherwise, the twine
will not be retained or cut after the
knot.
NOTE!
Check the two needles regulation.
REGULATING THE NEEDLE SLACK WITH THE RETAINER DISK (measure
A). The regulation is performed through the bolts C, D and E (picture 83).
With the tractor engine off and the key removed from the ignition:
1 – Loosen the bolt E.
To INCREASE the distance A: Loosen the bolt C and tighten the bolt D.
To DECREASE the distance A: Loosen the bolt D and tighten the bolt C.
