5- Using a stop pin, move the hexagonal shaft G until removing it from the
pinion H, (see fig.69).

CAUTION
6- Looking at the machine from its front (side of the collector) the two crank
handles must be in the positions indicated in the fig.70.

7- Now replace the hexagonal shaft G.
NOTE: If the shaft does not fit in the hexagonal opening of the pinion, turn the
handwheel a little manually, in a counterclockwise direction.
8- Replace the screws D and F.
9- Move the pinion E until it couples with the gear L.
10- Replace the screw of the pinion E.
11- Remove the wedge of the arms.
12- Assemble the separator C again and place the cord rolls.
13- Close the covers A and B.

When the hexagonal shaft exits the pinion F, the arms
become loose and, owing to their weight, do down
abruptly. It is important to wedge the arms before
starting the adjustment, in order to prevent accidents.
