OPERATION

Having observed the procedures described on the previous pages, the baler is
ready to start operating. Before turning it on:
- Carefully verify that there are no objects or tools in or on the machine.
- Check that there are no people or animals very near. A safe distance must
always be maintained from the machine.
With the Baler duly connected, start the tractor engine, connect the power socket
and increase acceleration gradually until reaching 540 rpm.
On the panel of the tractor, the mark corresponding to 540 rpm in the power so-
cket. In most tractors, this point is between 1700 and 2100 rpm on the counters.
ATTENTION!
WORK SPEED:
The speed at which the tractor goes must be compatible with the size of the
ridges, conditions of the land and the features of the material to be baled.
It is advisable to start the work at a low speed and increase it gradually, adapting
it to the operating conditions.
Do not try to overfeed the machine aiming to increase production, as it will
result in imperfect bales.

DISCONNECTING THE MACHINE

Upon stopping the machine, it is advisable to proceed as follows:
- Leave it running empty for a few instants, until the table is completely without
material.
- Slowly reduce the acceleration of the motor until it is idling.
- Disconnect the power socket.
34
It is important to maintain 540 rpm in the power socket
so that the piston which compacts the products attains the
prescribed number of 100 paces a minute. Rotation above
the one indicated may cause premature wearing of the
components. If it is below the one indicated, it overloads
the transmission components, being able to damage them.
