ETTING THE NOMINAL BATTERY CAPACITY
Once the BATTERY BOX has been installed, it is necessary to configure the CPS to update the nominal capacity value (total Ah
of batteries inside the CPS + external batteries).
To perform this operation, use the dedicated configuration software.
E
XTERNAL TEMPERATURE PROBE
This NON-ISOLATED input can be used to measure the temperature inside a remote Battery Box.
It is essential that only the kit provided by the manufacturer is used. Any uses not conforming to the specifications
may cause faults or breakdowns of the equipment.
As for installation, connect the cable included in the special kit (optional) to the "EXT T_BATT" connector (see "Views of the
CPS connections") following the instructions in the manual.
After installation, enable the outdoor temperature measuring function using the configuration software.
EOS – E
MERGENCY
The optional EOS (Emergency Only Switch) accessory, when used in combination with a CPS, can be used to create an
uninterruptible power system for emergency equipment with two types of output (always supplied, emergency only), compliant
with Standard 50171. With this configuration, the device is directly controlled by the CPS only in the event of an emergency.
Wherever there is the need to manage loads with high crest factors, the EOS accessory can be used to divide the load. In order
to use this function several EOS devices must be connected in parallel (max. 4 per CPS).
