During a loss of power, if the brakes are locked and it is necessary to move
the Allen® Advance Table, use the emergency brake release on both
columns to manually unlock the brakes.
Manually Release the Brakes
Pull the emergency brake release on both
columns.
NOTE:
Each column has a release. You must pull both releases to unlock the
brakes. The handles do not have to be pulled at the same time.
Reset the Electronic Brakes after being Manually Released
After you use the emergency brake releases to unlock the brakes, you must
do these steps to lock or reset the brakes:
1.
Make sure there is power to the Allen®
Advance Table, and its On/Off switch is
on.
2.
Press and hold the key control as you press the
unlock control. You will hear the brakes move.
3.
Press and hold the lock control until the locked indicator
on the Allen® Advance Table display is green.
4.
Try to move the Allen® Advance Table to make sure the brakes are
locked. If the brakes did not lock, repeat 2 and 3.
Adjust the length of the Allen® Advance Table
5.
If there is a support top on the Allen® Advance Table, remove the top
(see page 27).
6.
Unlock the brakes.
7.
Lift the cross tube handle to unlock the cross
tube.
8.
With a person at each end of the Allen®
Advance Table, adjust the length as
necessary:
