User management

In KINGSTAR range power sources, users who use the power source can be managed by subdividing them according
to profile. Depending on their profile, they can or cannot use certain welding machine power source settings/actions.
BASIC mode
BASIC mode includes three profile types :
PROFILE DESCRIPTION
Normal
Only settings
essential for welding are allowed.
Expert All settings for welding and accessories are
allowed.
Administrator All adjustments
and machine settings are allowed
To access the desired profile, use encoder I or press
the desired pushbutton directly. Then press the login
pushbutton .
A PIN number is required to access the Expert and Administrator profiles.
To change the PIN, select pushbutton

Select Menu -> Settings -> User Management.
Select the relevant option:
OFF: User profile management not enabled
Basic: User profile basic management
Advanced: Advanced user profile management, only
available if software option Item 809 has already been
activated.
The icons shown in the figure will appear after selecting
the profile type.
