Returning to the Default Settings
You can automatically return to the default settings, which are shown in the table below.

The thermocouple and RTD ranges may be configured so that they always read °C, °F, or are
selectable °C and °F. The unit defaults to turn off automatically after 30 minutes of inactivity.
This can be disabled by following the procedure below. Return the unit to its defaults by
following the steps below.
1. Press and hold STORE/RESET while turning the unit on.
2. When the display begins to flash, release STORE/RESET. The display flashes for about
5 seconds and then °C and °F appear.
To change the temperature units, when °C and °F flash on the display, immediately press

RANGE/TYPE to select °C, °F, or °C and °F. In about 5 seconds, the present setting of the
Auto Power Off function ("on" or "OFF") and "BAT" appear.
4. Press RANGE/TYPE to change the Auto Power Off function setting. After 5 seconds, the
IPM-300 automatically stores your choices and returns to normal operation.
