Calibrate Voltage Inputs
Select the Source mode by pressing the SOURCE/READ button until "SOURCE" appears on the
display.
Display: V, mV
This function provides an output from 0.00 mV to 110.00 mV and from 0.00 VDC to 10.25
VDC. Source current is a nominal 20 mA to provide the driving power to the voltage receivers.
1.
Turn the Selector knob to VDC.
2.
Connect the black and red leads to the meter as shown.
3.
Repeatedly press the RANGE/TYPE button until "SOURCE" and "V" or "mV" appear on the
display.
4.
Disconnect one or both input wires from the device to be calibrated.
5.
Connect the red lead of the meter to the plus (+) input of the device and the black lead to
the minus (-).
6.
Press the RANGE/TYPE button to toggle between mV and V.
With the toggle switch at SET, adjust the output to the desired value.
7.
Flip the toggle switch to HI or LO to use the stored values. See the Storing Output Values
section to change the stored values.
