INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
d. The fluid shield should be pulled tight across the top of the table. If the bag is
being installed with the patient on the table, grasp the outer edges of the fluid
shield and pull the leading edge of the shield under the patient. Hand pockets
are provided to facilitate tucking the shield under the patient. If the fluid shield
appears too short, reposition the mount clamps closer toward the head end of
the table.
e. The drainage bag is supplied with a gravity drain hose which can be extended
to 6 feet. To use this hose, remove the suction port cap and place the end of
the hose in an appropriate receptacle.
f. A suction hose may also be applied to the suction port cap. Be sure the cap is
securely plugged into the end of the hose prior to use.
g. If the drainage bag is attached prior to patient transfer, a sterile drape should
be placed over the bag until after the patient transfer board is removed.

3.4 Storage, Handling and Removal Instructions:

Storage and Handling:

The product should be stored in a clean and safe environment to prevent product
damage. See storage Specifications under Product Specification section.
3.4.2

Removal Instruction:

a. Remove the Uro Catcher Drapes from the Uro catcher System. Safely dispose the
Uro catcher Drapes.
b. Loosen the thumbscrews of the Uro Catcher System Mount Clamps.
c. Remove the Uro Catcher system from the OR Table.

3.5 Troubleshooting Guide:

This device does not have a troubleshooting guide. For technical support user of
the device shall first contact his or her supplier.

3.6 Device Maintenance:

Make sure that all labels are installed and can be read. Replace labels as
necessary by using a plastic scraper to remove the label. Use an alcohol wipe to
remove any adhesive residue.
