2. General information

NK, NKG are non-self-priming, single stage, centrifugal volute

pumps with axial suction port and radial discharge port.

NK pumps comply with EN 733.

NKG pumps comply with ISO 2858.

3. Receiving the product

3.1 Delivery

The pumps are tested 100 % before leaving the factory. The test
12
includes a function test where the pump performance is
15
measured to ensure that the pump meets the requirements of
18
relevant standards. Test certificates are available from Grundfos.

After the installation, the alignment of pump and motor must be

checked again. See section
19
3.2 Transporting the product

Always transport the pump in the specified position. During
21
transport, the pump must be fastened securely to prevent
21
damage to the shaft and shaft seal caused by excessive
vibrations and knocks. The pump must not be lifted by the shaft.
