C: Time setting.
When pulled out in this position, the winding, time-setting and
correction crown (I) causes the watch to stop (stop-seconds
system), enabling the time to be set.
To set the time precisely, pull the winding, time-setting and
correction crown (I) to position C when the seconds hand (3) is at
12 o'clock.
Turn the winding, time-setting and correction crown (I) to set the
hands to the required time.
The 24-hour disc (6) turns at the same time as the hour and minute
hands (1 and 2), keeping both displays synchronised.
Push the winding, time-setting and correction crown (I) back to
position A to restart the watch.

Reading the time
The hands show the time of the reference time-zone which is
indicated on the cities disc (4) by the reference time-zone index (7).
To read the time in a different zone, there are two solutions:
1. On the 24-hour disc (6), read the time aligned with the marker
of the relevant time-zone (triangular markers for full time-zones
and round markers for countries choosing not to follow the whole
hour system where the time differs by a fraction of an hour).
2. Pull out the winding, time-setting and correction crown (I) to
position B and set the required time-zone as the reference time-
zone in order to read the new reference time by means of the
hour and minute hands (1 and 2).
The day/night glass (5) provides a quick indication of day and night
zones on the map of the Northern Hemisphere.

Water-resistance

The water-resistance of the watch has been tested at a pressure
of 3 bar.
