6.5– CUTTING IN MANUAL MODE
- Turn the switch (7) to manual position
- Make the cut, when you come out of the piece the arc switches off; to
switch it on again you must press the torch button .
6.6– CONTACT CUTTING
This type of cut is used for materials with thickness 5mm or less.
- Remove the spacer and the 60A TIP. Prepare the torch, fitting the
consumer material for contact cutting: Tip 40A and Deflector (see
page 26 Ref.7).
- Regulate the current from minimum up to 40A (max).
- Make the cut, remaining in contact with the piece to be cut.

6.7- SWITCHING OFF

After having made the cut, the operator may switch off the
machine as follows (refer to figure 1):
1- Switch off the machine turning the line switch (9) to position
"0".
2- Check that the machine live Led (1) and the air presence Led (2)
are off.
3- Disconnect the plug of the machine from the power socket.
4- Disconnect the cable from the connector (6).
