GB) WARNING
To avoid any fire hazard, move 3 meters minimum away from
where you fueled the engine. NEVER start engine in an enclosed
space. Never run the saw without the clutch drum in place.
Serious injury could result.
•
Push Primer Bulb (A) until fuel is seen in the bulb.
•
Push Switch (B) to the "I" RUN position.
•
Pull Choke Lever (C) to full position (D).
•
While squeezing the trigger, hook Trigger Latch by pushing inward
and let go of the trigger. This latches the trigger for starting.
•
Place the chain saw on level ground and ensure that the chain is
not contacting any foreign objects.
•
Hold front handlebar on top (E).
•
Slowly pull the starter grip out until you feel the starter engage, then
briskly pull straight up (see illustration). DO NOT pull to the end
of the rope. Hold onto grip during rewinding.
•
Pull starter until engine tries to run. (No more than 6 pulls.)
•
Move Choke Lever to half choke position (F) and pull starter until
engine runs.
•
Move Choke Lever to run (G) position. Squeeze the trigger and
then release to unlatch the trigger.
•
Now you can pick up the saw.
•
To stop the engine, move Switch (B) to "O" STOP position.
NOTE
Restarting a recently run engine: The engine may still be warm enough
to start at idle without choking. If not, hold throttle open and go to half
choke (F). Use full choke (D) if necessary.
F) MISE EN GARDE
Pour éviter tout risque d'incendie, écartez-vous d'au moins trois
mètres de l'endroit où vous avez refait le plein de carburant. Ne mettez
JAMAIS un moteur en marche dans un endroit clos.
•
Appuyez sur la poire d'amorce (A) jusqu'à ce que vous puissiez
voir du carburant dans la poire.
•
Mettez le commutateur (B) sur la position « I » RUN.
•
Mettez le levier du starter (C) sur la position full (D)
•
Tout en appuyant sur la gâchette, accrochez le verrou de la
gâchette en poussant vers l'avant et en laissant aller la gâchette.
Ceci verrouille la gâchette pour la mise en marche.
•
Placez la tronçonneuse sur un sol plat et assurez-vous que la
chaîne ne vient en contact avec aucun corps étranger.
• Tenez la poignée frontale sur le dessus (E).
• Tirez lentement la prise du démarreur vers l'extérieur jusqu'à ce que
vous sentiez le démarreur en prise, puis tirez énergiquement vers
le haut (reportez-vous à l'illustration). NE TIREZ PAS jusqu'au bout
de la corde. Tenez fermement la prise durant le rembobinage.
• Tirez le démarreur jusqu'à ce que le moteur essaie de tourner. (Ne
tirez pas plus de six fois.)
• Mettez le levier du starter en position half-choke (F) et tirez sur le
démarreur jusqu'à ce que le moteur tourne.
• Mettez le levier du starter en position run (marche) (G). Appuyez
sur la gâchette et relâchez alors afin de déverrouiller la gâchette.
• Vous pouvez maintenant ramasser la tronçonneuse.
• Pour arrêter le moteur, mettez le commutateur (B) en position
« O » STOP.

REMARQUE
Comment remettre en marche un moteur ayant tourné récemment : le
moteur peut être encore suffisamment chaud pour démarrer au ralenti
sans devoir recourir au starter. Sinon, tenez le starter ouvert et passez
à la position half-choke (F). Utilisez, au besoin, la position full choke (D).
