Be aware of the danger of a
short circuit while working on
the battery.
Do not put any tools or metal
objects on the battery.
Follow the battery installation /
removal instructions in the order
below.
Battery removal:
First remove the black wire (-
/ negative pole) and then the
red wire (+ / positive pole)
Remove the battery
Battery installation:
First attach the red wire (+ /
positive pole) and then the
black wire (- / negative pole)
On delivery of a maintenance
free / sealed battery (model 1)
(Battery without seal plug)
The battery is filled with battery
acid and then sealed at the
factory.If battery is put into
service after date shown on top of
battery, charge for minimum of
one hour at 12V (6-10 amps).
Refer to the maintenance section
of this manual for more detailed
instructions regarding proper
battery charging procedure
On delivery of an unfilled
battery (model 2)
(Battery with seal plug)
Remove seal plug from the
battery cells.
Slowly fill each cell with
battery acid up to 1 cm below
the opening.
Leave the battery to stand for
30 minutes, so that the lead
can absorb the battery acid.
Check acid level, if necessary,
add battery acid.
Before putting the battery into
use, charge the battery with a
battery charger (maximum of
12V- 6 ampere) for 2-6 hours.
After charging, first
disconnect the charger from
the mains and then remove
the battery (refer to battery
charger manual)
• Replace seal plugs onto the
battery cells.
Install battery into unit.
Lower the ventilation hose.
First attach the red lead
(positive / +) and then the
black lead (negative / -).
The battery is only to be
refilled with distilled water.
(Check every 2 months)
Keep the battery clean.

Steering Wheel
This tractor is equipped with
power steering (optional).
Because of this feature, the
steering wheel might not be
center aligned.
Parking Brake Lever (A)

With the brake pedal depressed
fully, push the parking brake
lever and release the brake pedal
to lock the parking brake.

PTO Switch (B)
Pull upward on the right edge of
the switch handle to engage the
PTO clutch. Push the switch
downward to disengage the PTO
clutch.
Brake Pedal (C)
Press down to stop the tractor and
disengage the cruise control. The
brake pedal must be fully
depressed
a- to activate the safety interlock
switch when starting the tractor
b-to deactivate the parking break
Reverse Pedal (D)

Slowly press down the pedal to
move in reverse.
Forward Pedal (E)

Slowly press down on the pedal
to start moving forward. The
forward ground speed of the
tractor is directly affected by the
distance the pedal is depressed.
Ignition / Light Switch (F)
The combination lights and
ignition switch has four positions.
Description of each position:
1. Off
2. Light on
3. Ignition / Light on
4. Start
Center Lift Height Indicator
(G)
The center lift height indicator is
located in the left running board.
This indicator shows the operator
the relative height position setting
of the hydraulic center lift system.
The lower number indicates a
lower setting.
Transmission Release Rod (H)

This rod, when engaged, allows
the tractor to be pushed short
distances by hand. Disengaging
the transmission:
pull back on the rod and then lift
the rod up into the slot
