1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read the following instructions carefully and keep this instruction manual for future reference or
new users.
• Do not touch hot surfaces or water after use. Use handles or knobs.
• Use this circulator only for its intended use. It is designed for household use only.
• To prevent electrical shocks, do not immerse the cord, plugs, or entire unit in water or any other
liquid.
• Do not use an extension cord with this appliance, use only grounded electrical outlets.
• It is designed for indoor use only, do not use it outdoors.
• Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is used near children.
• Do not allow children to use the appliance.
• Unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet when not in use and before cleaning it. Allow it to
cool before assembling or disassembling its parts.
• Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug, nor after the appliance malfunctions
or has been damaged in any way. Return the appliance to the nearest authorized service centre
for examination, repair, or adjustment.
• The use of accessories not recommended by the manufacturer may cause injuries.
• Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of tables or countertops, nor touch hot surfaces.
• Do not place it close to hot hobs, or in a hot oven.
• Do not use an extension cord with this product.
• Use the appliance in water only. Keep the water level between the "Min." and "Max." level sig-
nals. Do not use the appliance for purposes other than those intended for it.
• Keep the appliance dry. Only the heater and circulator portion should be underwater. Do not submerge
the cord, power box, or upper portion of the appliance. If the appliance or any of its parts are sub-
merged, unplug the appliance immediately and contact us.
• Unplug the appliance before moving it, while cleaning it, and when not in use. Allow the
appliance to cool before lifting or storing it.
• Do not use near explosive or flammable materials. Wait for the appliance to cool before moving
it. Remember the water can be very hot. Use a table mat to protect your countertop from any
container that has been used with this appliance. Use tongs to reach anything inside the container.
Extreme caution must be used when moving containers with hot water.
• Keep safe. If the appliance is dropped in water, damaged, malfunctions, or the plug or power
cord is damaged in any way, do not use the appliance and contact us for repairs.
• Cover the water container. Energy can be saved by covering the water container with plastic
wrap while cooking. Do not cover any part of the appliance with plastic wrap.
• This appliance must not be used by children under the age of 8. This product can be used by
children aged 8 or over, as long as they are given continuous supervision.
• This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensitive, or mental capabili-
ties, or lack of experience or knowledge, as long as they have been given supervision or ins-
truction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understands the risks involved.
• Keep this appliance and its power cord out of reach of children under the age of 8.
