4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Make sure to turn off the appliance and let it cool down before cleaning it.
• Surface in contat with water:
Use a wet cloth with warm water and an anti-scale product or vinegar. Clean the surface softly
and then dry it.
• Surface not in contact with water:
Clean softly with a wet cloth and then dry.
NOTE: do not use solvents, nor abrasive products or products with an acid pH, such as bleach.
ADVISE: do not wash in the dishwasher, it could be damaged.
• Descale:
Depending on the minerals and calc present in the water, as well as the frequency of use of the
appliance, it might be necessary to descale it regularly. In order to do so, follow the steps below:
1. Place the appliance on the edge of a container with water, the same way you would do it to
cook with it.
2. Add 5 g of citric acid for every litre of water in the container.
3. Set the temperature at 70 °C.
4. Once the temperature has been reached, let the appliance work for 20 minutes.
5. Turn off the appliance and let it cool down.
6. Rinse the circulation tube with water and dry it thoroughly before storing the appliance.
