PROGRAMMING AND STARTING UP

CONTROLS AND COMMANDS
SW2 functions
Functions during programming (DIP3=ON)
• DIP1=OFF and DIP2=OFF: programming of the
opening and closing travel (see page 49).
Functions during use (DIP3=OFF)
• DIP1=ON and DIP2=ON: automatic closing mode
(the closing operation begins when standby time
finishes) and alternative stop (whilst opening, the
gate can be stopped by pressing the key device).
2
CONNECTION TO THE POWER SUPPLY AND CHECKING OF ROTATION DIRECTION
1 Connect the power supply of the control panel.
2 Connect the general circuit breaker (SW1).
The correct operation of the operator and of the
complete system will only be achieved after
programming. However, prior to programming it
is necessary to check that all the elements work,
carrying out the checks listed below.

SW2 Programming DIPs
ST1
Opening and closing (or opening in "dead man"
mode) operations mini-button
ST2
Closing mini-button (only in "dead man" mode)
T.E.
Gate open standby time adjustment (only works
in automatic mode, DIP1=ON)
PM.A Torque adjustment (maximum thrust) in opening
PM.C Torque adjustment (maximum thrust) in closing
J1
Operator model selector (IZAR 1 - IZAR 4)
J2
Operator model selector (IZAR 1 - IZAR 4)
J1 and J2 should be placed in the same
position, which should correspond to the
operator installed (IZAR1 or IZAR4). Failure
to do so may lead to accidents.
• DIP1=ON and DIP2=OFF: automatic closing mode
(the closing operation begins when standby time
finishes) and alternative opening (whilst opening,
the gate cannot be stopped by any control device).
• DIP1=OFF and DIP2=ON: step-by-step closing
mode (the gate remains open until the control
device is operated) and alternative stop (whilst
opening, the gate can be stopped by pressing the
control device).
• DIP1=OFF and DIP2=OFF: dead man mode
– with HPC chip: the gate opens by briefly pressing
the "open" button and closes by keeping the
"close" button pressed down
– with HPAC chip: the gate opens by briefly
pressing the "open" button and closes by
keeping the "close" button pressed down
3 Check the rotation direction of the motor using the
mini-buttons ST1 and ST2 (first place DIP1, DIP2 and
DIP3 in OFF).
If the direction of any motor is not correct,
interchange the connection cables (Rotation1 and
Rotation2) of the motor in the corresponding
connector.
Before carrying out any gate movement,
ensure there is no person or object in the radius
of action of the gate and the operation
mechanisms.
