STARTING UP

Final checks

Following installation and programming, start up the
operator and check the devices installed:
1 Check the correct operation of the key devices
(button, H.P. button, wall key and remote control).

See "Operation modes" on page 41.
2 Check the correct operation of the safety devices
(photocells).

See "A- Detection by additional safety device
(photocell or strip)" on page 42.
3 Place an obstacle and make the gate collide with it
in order to check operation in the event of collision.

See "B- Direct detection (sensitivity of the
operator)" on page 42.
4 Check that in connections with N.A. (Normally
Open) contacts, the corresponding LED diodes are
off whilst the connected devices are inactive.
5 Check that in connections with N.C. (Normally
Closed) contacts, the corresponding LED diodes are
on whilst the connected devices are inactive.
6 If everything is correct, close the panel cover.

If the system does not work correctly, find out
why and put it right (see section "Failure
diagnosis" on page 52).

PROGRAMMING AND STARTING UP
1 Measure the impact force and compare it to the
values indicated in Standard EN12453:2000. If the
values measured are higher than those in the Standard,
reduce the torque or the speed (duly programme soft
startup and stop).

The torque regulator of the control panel must
be adjusted in a manner which respects the
values indicated in standard EN 12453:2000, as
shown in the
measurements must be made in line with the
method described in standard EN 12445:2000.

User instruction

1 Instruct the user with regards to the use and
maintenance of the installation and provide him/her
with the instructions on use.
2 Signpost
the gate,
automatically and indicating how to operate it
manually. Where appropriate,
operation is using the remote control.
