User instructions

Dear User,
You use the Pontos AquaCycle grey water recycling system in your building. This fully automatic
system treats shower and bath water in a purely biomechanical process, without any chemical addi-
tives, so that it can be used a second time.
The recycled water, the so-called process water, conforms to the high hygienic requirements of the
European Bathing Water Directive and can be used, for example, for toilet flushing purposes. That
means, you can enjoy your shower every day and save precious drinking water at the same time!
To ensure flawless operation, please observe the following rules:
General information
You can use standard store-bought products in quantities customary in households for cleaning the
bath tub and shower tray and for daily personal hygiene. The higher the biodegradability of these
products, the better.
The following substances and effluents must not enter the system:
Chlorine
Acids
Medications
Chemical products
(except those specified under "General information")
Paints
Colourants and dyes (e.g. for hair or textiles)
Waste water from the kitchen (such as oil or fat)
Waste water from the dishwasher
Waste water from the washing machine
Mud baths
Waste water from washing clothes in the shower/bath tub/washbasin
etc.
What may happen if these rules are not observed?
The water used in flushing the toilet may smell unpleasant and/or be cloudy/coloured.
Should this situation persist for several days without improvement, please contact your service
technician or Pontos GmbH.
