Sediment pump
The sediment pumps extract the sediments
from stage 1 + 2 at regular intervals.
Checking the sediment pumps:
If no water is discharged from one or both drai-
nage lines after switching on the sediment ex-
traction, the sediment pumps must be cleaned
or replaced.
Cleaning / replacing the sediment pump:
1. Unplug the facility's mains plug.
2. Close the ball valve.
To prevent the water from the
respective tank from flowing into
the room during work, the water
level in the respective tank must
first of all be lowered that much
that it is located beneath the se-
diment pumps' installation height.
3. Dismantle hose clamps of the draining and
suction lines and pull off hoses. Attention
residual water!
4. Unscrew fastening screws and remove
pump. When removing the pump casing,
wastewater may leak from the connecting
hoses.
5. Pull of connecting cable.
6. For cleaning, open the bayonet catch at the
pump casing and then remove casing.
7. Mount pump in reverse order. Pay attention
that the gasket is correctly seated!
8. Reopen ball valve.
9. Check function according to chapter Menu
tree.
As soon as the sediment extraction is switched
on, water is pumped into the drain via the drai-
nage lines.
