5.2. Operation
5.2.1. Setting by hand of the Endomed 182
Switch on
• Connect the standard main adapter to connector [14]
• Connect the main adapter plug to the mains socket.
• Switch the unit on with the button [1]
During the start-up period runs a self-test.
• Connect the patient cable adapter on connector [12]
• Fix the electrodes to the patient.
Therapy selection
• Select the current form with button [16]
• 2P: Pre-modulated interference
• 4P: Interference classical
• : Isoplanairy interference
• BI-asymmetrical biphasic pulsed current (TENS)
• : BURST tens (Bi-asymmetrical biphasic pulsed current
The selected current will be indicated on display [2] by green LED
Adjusting AMF
• Select the AMF read-out with button [4]

• Adjust the AMF frequency with the buttons [5]
Read-out is on Display [3]
Adjusting Modulation frequency
• Select modulation frequency read-out with button [3]
• The LED light-up next
• Adjust the modulation frequency with the buttons [5]
Read-out is on display [3]
Adjusting the modulation program
• Adjust the modulation program with button [7]. (3 settings are possible 1-1, 6-6, 1-30)
The selection is indicated in display [6] by LED next the figure 1-1, 6-6 or 1-30
Adjusting treatment time
Adjust the treatment time with the buttons [8]
Read-out is on display [6]
Adjusting the intensity in channel 1 and 2
• Select the channel with button [11]
• Selected channel will be indicate by LED in display [10]
• Adjust the intensity with the buttons [13]
Countdown of treatment timer starts.
Repeat this handling for channel 2.
*If interference classical or isoplanairy is selected. The intensity will be adjusted automatically in both
channels. Use the channel selection for balance.
Stop the treatment
• Adjust the timer to zero or select a other current form
