PRESSURE COOKING WITH THE PRESSURE PRO
Closing the pot
Hold the lid straight, keep the buttons pressed and place the lid
on the pot. Slightly press down on the lid until the mechanism
audibly engages - the pot is now closed.
The steam insert
Add liquid (approx. 300 ml) into the pot. The insert should not
be submerged in liquid. Food that is to be steamed can now be
placed in the insert and will be cooked by the resulting steam.
With this cooking method, the food remains tender and juicy.
Using the steam insert supports a healthier diet, water-soluble
vitamins and nutrients in the food are also retained. Since it
eliminates oils and fats, steaming your food is recommended as
part of a calorie-conscious diet.
