5.2 Commissioning
Danger of infection due to non-sterile handling!
Non-sterile handling can lead to contamination of the patient.
The angled screwdriver and the accessories must undergo a complete reprocessing prior to
usage (cleaning, disinfection, oil service and sterilization).
Danger of injury due to wrong handling!
The operation of the angled screw driver is only permitted on supply units that correspond to
the standards IEC 60601-1 (EN 60601-1) and IEC 60601-1-2 (EN 60601-1-2).
• Always ensure that you have the correct operating conditions.
Check the angled screwdriver for damage and loose parts prior to use (e.g. screw holding
•
device and retaining clip).
Do not use the angled screwdriver in case of damages.
•
Do not assemble motor or turning handle during operation.
•
• Never touch the tool when it is still rotating.
Carry out a test run before every use.
•
Use only screwdriver blades and drills which are in perfect conditions and pay attention to
•
the direction of rotation of the tools.
Avoid overheating at the treatment site. Drills must be thoroughly cooled to avoid
•
necrosis at the bone.
Insert the tool only when the angled screwdriver is stationary.
•
Use the screwdriver blade only with the turning handle.
•
Unintended use may result in warming of the angled screwdriver.
•
Never touch the tension clip of the angled screwdriver during use. This leads to
•
detachment of the tool and/or overheating of the angled screwdriver.
