After Completion of the Application
Remove the angled screwdriver from the motor or turning handle.
Unclamp the tool.
Clean and disinfect the angled screwdriver and the accessories immediately after every
treatment to rinse out any liquids that may have entered (e.g. blood, saliva, etc.) and
prevent seizing up of the internal parts. Operate the angled screw driver for at least
10 seconds at idle speed.

Processing (Cleaning, Disinfection and Sterilization)
6.1
Basic Information on Processing
Danger of infection due to non-sterile handling!
Improper sterilization and non-sterile handling of the instrument can lead to serious health
hazards for patients.
Sterilization must be carried out according to a validated steam sterilization process, for
example in a sterilizer complying with EN 13060 Class B.
ANSI/AAMI ST79: Sterilization temperature 134°C (273.2°F) with a minimum holding time of
3 min (potential prion contamination: 18 min). Please follow the instructions of the user
manual of your steam sterilizer.
Danger of infection due to reuse!
Drills are medical devices for single use and are not destined for reuse.
The angled screwdriver can be prepared manually or mechanically.
Observe the country-specific guidelines, standards and provisions for cleaning, disinfection
and sterilization.
Wear protective clothing.
Process the angled screwdriver and non-sterile accessories before the first and after every
use.
