− Keep the appliance, the power cord and the power plug away from
water and other liquids as well as from open fire, heat sources and
hot surfaces.
− Never touch the appliance or the power plug with wet hands.
− Never pull the power plug out of the socket by the power cord,
always take hold of the power plug.
− Never use the power cord as a handle to carry the appliance.
− Lay the power cord in such a way that it does not pose a tripping
hazard.

Do not bend the power cord or lay it over sharp edges.
− Never store the appliance in such a way that it can fall into a tub or
sink.
− Never reach for the appliance if it has fallen into water. In such a case,
pull the power plug out of the socket immediately.
− Always switch the appliance off and pull the plug out of the socket if:
• You are not supervising the appliance or you have finished
preparing your meal,
• you do not use the appliance or are cleaning it,
• during thunderstorms or if a fault occurs.
