Step 3: Drill a hole in the wall for the pipe connection.
1. Determine the location of the hole in the wall based on the position of the mounting plate.
Refer to Mounting Plate Dimensions.
2. Using a 65mm or 90mm drill (depending on models), drill a hole in the wall. Make sure the hole is
drilled at a slightly downward angle, so that the outer end of the hole is lower than the inner end by
approximately 5mm to 7mm. This will ensure proper water drainage.
3. Place the wall protection cap over the hole. This protects the edges of the hole and will help to seal the
hole when the installation process is complete.
CAUTION
When drilling the hole in the wall, be sure
to avoid cables, leads and other sensitive
components.

different customisation requirements,
the shape of the mounting plate may
be slightly different. But the installation
dimensions are the same for the same
indoor unit size.
See Type A and Type B on the right.
Correct orientation of the mounting plate:
Nota: When the gas side connective
pipe is 16mm diameter or more, the wall
bore must be 90mm.
