Step 3: Anchoring the outdoor unit
The outdoor unit can be anchored to the floor or to a wall bracket with a bolt (M10). Prepare the installa-
tion base of the unit according to the dimensions given below:

If you are installing the unit on the ground or on a concrete pad, do the following:
1. Mark the positions of the four expansion bolts according to the dimension table.
2. Pre-drill holes for the expansion bolts.
3. Place a nut on the end of each expansion bolt.
4. Hammer the expansion bolts into the pre-drilled holes.
5. Remove the nuts from the expansion bolts and place the outdoor unit on the bolts.
6. Place a washer on each expansion bolt and then replace the nuts.
7. Using a spanner, tighten each nut until snug.
Note: If drilling in concrete, eye protection is recommended at all times.
If you are installing the unit on a wall bracket, do the following:
1. Mark the position of the holes in the bracket according to the dimension table.
2. Pre-drill the holes for the expansion bolts.
3. Place a washer and nut on the end of each expansion bolt.
4. Thread the expansion bolts through the holes in the mounting brackets, place the mounting brackets in position
and hammer into place.

and hammer the expansion bolts into the wall.
5. Check that the mounting brackets are level.
6. Carefully lift the unit and place the mounting feet on the brackets.
7. Screw the unit firmly to the brackets.
8. If permitted, install the unit with rubber gaskets to reduce vibration and noise.
