Instructions for connecting pipes to the indoor unit
1. Align the centre of the pipes to be connected.

2. Tighten the flare nut as tight as possible by hand.
3. Using a spanner, tighten the hose nut on the unit.
4. While holding the nut firmly on the unit hose, use a torque
wrench to tighten the nut.

wrench to tighten the flare nut according to the values in the
torque requirement table below. Slightly loosen the flare nut
and retighten it.

Note: Do not use excessive torque. Excessive force may crack the nut or damage the coolant pipe. Do not
exceed the torque requirements shown in the table above.
Instructions for piping connection to the indoor unit
Unscrew the packed valve cover on the side of the outdoor unit. 2.
2. Remove the protective caps from the ends of the valves.
3. Align the flared end of the piping with each valve and tighten the flare nut as tight as possible by hand.
4. Using a spanner, grasp the valve body. Do not grasp the nut that seals the service valve.
5. While holding the valve body firmly, use a torque spanner to tighten the flare nut to the correct torque
values.
6. Slightly loosen the flare nut and retighten it.
7. Repeat steps 3 to 6 for the rest of the pipe.
Note: Use a spanner to hold the main body of the valve.
Tightening torque on the flare nut may break other parts of the valve.
