Foreword
The Schaeffler MF Generators enable clean and efficient assembly
and disassembly. They consist of a generator and one or more
inductors, depending on the choice of the user. The generator
is designed for the connection of inductors used for heating
ferromagnetic workpieces. Suitable materials include iron, steel,
stainless steel, titanium and certain bronze alloys. The maximum
capacity workpieces can be subjected to is 10kW, 22kW or 44kW,
depending on the type of generator.
1. About the user manual
1.1 Availability
This user manual is supplied with each device and can also be
ordered retrospectively.
1.2 Legal guidelines
The information in this manual corresponded to the most recent
status at the close of editing. The illustrations and descriptions
cannot be used as grounds for any claims relating to devices
that have already been delivered. Schaeffler Technologies AG &
Co.KG accepts no liability for any damage or malfunctions if the
device or accessories have been modified or used in an incorrect
manner.
1.3 Original user manual
The original user manual is taken to be a user manual in the
Dutch language. A user manual in another language is to be taken
as a translation of the original user manual.

2. Safety, warnings and potential hazards
This operating manual uses a number of danger levels to draw the
user's attention to potentially hazardous situations.
These levels are:
WARNING!
Warning of danger. Be aware that you are working
with an electrical device. Unqualified or improper
use, can result in serious injury or even death.
CAUTION!
Potentially hazardous situation that can result in moderate or
minor injury.
NOTE!
Potentially hazardous situation that can result in damage to
equipment.
The potential hazard is described using the above danger levels
and the type of hazard. Pictograms are used in the descriptions
for illustration. These pictograms are explained in section 4.1.
Read the prohibitions, commands and warnings and follow the
instructions given. These are given for your own safety, the safety
of third parties and to avoid damage to the equipment.
2.1 Explanation of the pictograms

sensitive implants.
Wearing of metal parts, watches and jewellery
forbidden.
Forbidden for persons with metal implants.
Forbidden for magnetically sensitive data media.
