4. Explanation of operating elements
Touchscreen. The screen is used to set parameters
and to start and stop the heating process. See
section 6.1 for a more detailed explanation of the
operating elements on the touchscreen.
Main switch with emergency stop function.
Temperature sensor connection (thermocouple
Type K).
Inductor power connection.
Inductor thermal protection and
identification connection.
Connection for optional status column.
USB port.
Network connection.
Magnetic temperature sensor, red for T1.
Magnetic temperature sensor, green for T2.

5. Installation and commissioning
5.1 Installation
1. Remove the packaging and place the generator on a stable,
level non-ferrous surface. If the device is supplied with a
trolley (optional), ensure that the castors are locked when
the trolley is not being moved.
2. Ensure that there is at least 20 cm clearance around the
device in order to ensure good ventilation and cooling of the
generator.
NOTE!
If several generators are installed alongside one another,
ensure a clearance between the generators of at least 100 cm.
The generators can then be supplied with sufficient cool air
and do not have to use the warm air from the other generators
for cooling.
3. Check the connection voltage and current against the rating
plate on the machine:

4. Check the power supply cable for damage before every use.
Do not use the generator if it is damaged.
5. For practical reasons, the power supply cable is fitted as
standard with a 5-pin CEE type plug. The device operates,
however, on 3x phase and 1x earth.
6. Ensure that the power supply cable cannot come into contact
with the workpiece to be heated. Insert the plug in a suitable
socket outlet with earth connection.
7. Turn on the generator by turning the red switch on the front
panel from "0" to "1".
8. The screen lights up briefly and then remains "black" for
some time. The controller now starts. This takes some time.
Do not switch off the device during this time.
