4. WARNING! The appliance shall be
disconnected from its power source during

service and when replacing parts by removing
the plug.
5. The removal of the plug has to be such that
an operator can check from any of the points
to which he has access that the plug remains
removed.
6. Do not install the appliance in an area where
a water jet could be used or splash water is
likely to occur.
7. Only install the appliance in a location where it
can be overseen by trained personnel.
8. Place the appliance on a stable and leveled
surface capable of supporting the weight of
the appliance.
9. Be aware that the temperature of accessible
surfaces may be high when the appliance is
operating.
10. Do not move the appliance with a filled pouch
inside and/or operating.
11. Do not attempt to modify the appliance in
any way. Never use accessories which are
not recommended by the manufacturer. They
could pose a safety risk to the user and might
damage the appliance. Only use original parts
and accessories.
12. Do not use the appliance outdoors or in the
bathroom.
13. Danger of electric shock! Do not
attempt to repair the appliance yourself.
In case of malfunction, repairs are to be
conducted by qualified personnel only.
14. The seal bar becomes hot during operation.
Never touch it directly after the sealing
process.
15. Use only the special plastic films that are
suitable for use with a vacuum sealer and
recommended by the manufacturer.
16. This appliance cannot be used with vacuum
pouches meant for chamber vacuum sealers.
The appliance must only be used with
embossed vacuum pouches.
17. Do not use the vacuum sealer on wet
surfaces.
18. Plug the vacuum sealer directly into a
grounded power source, do not use an
extension cord or a multi-socket outlet.
19. To disconnect the appliance, remove the
power plug from the power source. Do not pull
the power plug out of the electrical outlet by
the power cord.
20. Only use the vacuum sealer for its intended
use. The appliance is intended for commercial
use.
21. Only use the vacuum sealer to vacuum seal
food. Do not use it to vacuum seal any other
items, such as clothing, medicine, chemicals
or hazardous or flammable materials.
22. While the appliance is working, do not touch
the vacuum lid, liquid tank and sealing bar to
avoid getting bruised or burned or damaging
the appliance.
23. Connect the power plug to an easily reachable
electrical outlet so that in case of an
emergency the appliance can be unplugged
immediately. Pull the power plug out of the
electrical outlet to completely switch off
the appliance. Use the power plug as the
disconnection device.
24. The A-weighted sound pressure level is 67.4
dB(A). The sound power level is 80.4 dB(A).
The vibration level is 0.33 m/s².
Maintenance instructions
1. Observe the method and frequency of
cleaning.
2. Clean the appliance before and after each use
as described within this manual. Use only the
recommended cleaning or disinfecting agents.
3. Do not clean the appliance with a water jet.
4. Only use accessories with the appliance as
mentioned in this instruction manual.
Electrical safety
1. Ensure the rated voltage shown on the rating
label corresponds with the voltage of the
power supply.
2. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged
power cord or plug, when the appliance
malfunctions or has been damaged in any
manner.
3. Protect the power cord against damages.
Do not let it hang over sharp edges, do not
squeeze or bend it. Keep the power cord away
from hot surfaces and ensure that nobody can
trip over it.
4. Do not insert fingers or foreign objects in any
opening of the appliance and do not obstruct
the air vents.
5. Protect the appliance against heat. Do not
place close to heat sources such as stoves or
heating appliances.
