IMPORTANT: before each trip, check the motor's attachment to the vessel and
eliminate any slack if necessary. In most cases, the outboard motor is attached to
the transom using a bracket - a common and safe method, but one that requires
regular checks on the stability of the installation.
3.3.
Working with the device
ATTENTION: due to the transport, the motor lubrication system is not filled with
oil (it only has trace amounts of oil, which is used to lubricate the internal moving
parts during assembly), therefore it is essential to top up the oil in the motor
before the first start-up - otherwise there is a risk of damaging the motor! The oil
should be topped up on a horizontally positioned motor (with the neck of the oil
plug opening facing upwards) or, in the case of MSW-MOE-G-2.5 and MSW-MOE-
G-6.5 models, vertically positioned. Fill the oil slowly and gradually through the oil
plug hole until the oil level reaches the level between the two graduation lines on
the dipstick - do not overfill! In the same way, monitor its level and replenish it if
necessary. In the event of overfilling above the permissible level, suck out the
excess oil.
Details on the oil maintenance of the device can be found later in this manual.
Fill a full tank with fresh fuel (no more than the lower limit of the filler neck).

Starting the motor
After checking the general condition of the motor for any damage, any loose
parts, that the air filter is properly fitted, after checking the oil level, pouring
fuel into the tank and making sure that the bolts are not blocking anything:
