a) Turn on the ignition, i.e. the red cap should be placed on its socket located
at the gas handle and attached to the vessel's steersman (his/her hand,
arm or clothing) - this is a required safety measure.
b) Only when starting a cold motor: move the suction lever to the closed
position (in line with the arrow - see common suction symbol on the
housing). On the MSW-MOE-G-6.5 model, press in the red ignition handle
(see image below):
c) Press the fuel bubble located at the throttle 6 times to fill the system with
fuel.
d) Tension the starter pull cord by pulling it slowly until you feel resistance.
e) Pull the cord handle vigorously 2-4 times until the motor starts.
ATTENTION: pull with sensitivity and not to the end, so as not to break the
cord and damage the starter.
f) Allow the motor to warm up, i.e. idle for a while until it reaches operating
temperature.
g) Then move the manual suction lever to the open position (opposite to
closed).
If the motor does not start, repeat steps a) - g) above.
