The engine does not start when using the manual starter :

1 - Is the engine on/off switch in position ON?
2 - Is there enough oil?
3 - Is the fuel tap open (ON)?
4 - Is there enough fuel?
5 - Does the fuel reach the carburettor?
To check, unscrew the drain plug with the tap in the "ON" position: HX, or with the knurled knob of the tap unscrewed : SH (FIGURE K).
.6 - Is there a spark at the spark plug?
A - Remove the spark plug cap. Clean around the base of the plug, then remove the spark plug.
B - Reinstall the spark plug into its cap.
C - Use the engine on/off switch.
D - Put the spark plug on the engine to earth the side electrode, pull the recoil starter to check if a spark flies out between the electrodes.(FUGURE J)
E - If there is no spark, replace the spark plug.
If the spark plug is in good condition, try cranking the engine according to the instructions.
If the engine still does not start, take it to your dealer.
