USE AND OPERATION
WARNING: Never use the appliance
with no oil in the well, as this may damage
its structure.
– Use the basket hanger mount to drain the
fried foods.
– When the appliance is not used for a short
time, reduce the oil temperature to the min-
imum level or switch off the appliance to
prevent unnecessary gas consumption and
oil ageing.
The appliance is fi tted with the controls re-
quired to enable its main functions.

– Change the oil when it smokes between 160
and 180°C or when it becomes dark in colour.
– Use a polarimeter regularly to measure the
percentage of polarised compounds (max al-
lowed value 25 g/100 g pursuant to Circular
No. 1 of 11 January 1991 issued by the MINIS-
TRY OF HEALTH.
Mains light: comes on to indicate that the
